Asim Razzaq

Chief Executive Officer

Asim Razzaq is the co-founder and CEO of Yotascale. Prior to Yotascale, Asim was Senior Director of Platform Engineering (Head of Infrastructure) at PayPal where he was responsible for all core infrastructure processing payments and logins. He led the build-out of the PayPal private cloud and the PayPal developer platform generating multi-billion dollars in payments volume.

Asim has held engineering leadership roles at early-mid stage startups and large companies including eBay and PayPal. His teams have focused on building cloud-scale platforms and applications.

Asim earned his BS (Honors) in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin where conducted undergraduate research in the areas of resource management and distributed computing and is a published author.

Vitaliy Zinchenko

Head of Engineering

Vitaliy Zinchenko is the head of engineering at Yotascale. Vitaliy has been with Yotascale since 2019 when he joined us as a platform architect. Today, he is leading the development of our scalable cloud cost management software. Vitality has more than 20 years of experience as a computing engineer and a successful track record of architecting and developing complex systems end-to-end.

Prior to Yotascale, he was a cloud architect at Oracle and System Architect at eBay. Vitaliy also founded a cloud application lifecycle management company acquired by Walmart, where he went on to lead continued innovation in the product and drive widespread adoption. He holds a master’s degree in applied mathematics as well as two patents on AI systems.

Anu Gardiner

Head of Sales

Anu Gardiner is the Head of Sales at Yotascale.  She has 20+ years of experience in a variety of leadership roles at some of the most innovative high-tech companies.  Prior to Yotascale, Anu was a Regional Vice President at Candex, a fintech startup.  At Docusign, Anu led the Go-To-Market strategy for the purchasing  use-case.  Other prior roles include business development at KPMG, technology sourcing at Kaiser Permanente, supply chain management at Cisco and management consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton.  

Anu’s passion is transforming enterprises through digital disruption.  She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two teenage boys. @anugard

Jeff Harris

Head of Customer Success

Jeff Harris is the Head of Customer Success at Yotascale. Jeff has been with Yotascale since 2017 when he started as a Solutions Architect before transitioning to Product Management and is now responsible for partnering with customers to define and achieve their desired outcomes through the use of Yotascale software. Prior to Yotascale, Jeff led a team of Sales Engineer SMEs at Airwatch (acquired by VMware) and was a Solutions Engineer at Google Cloud, specializing in Machine Learning.

Jeff brings a wide range of experience to the team. He served in the Marine Corps from 2005-2009, and studied Computer Science and Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech where he worked on projects for NASA, Lockheed Martin, and UPS. When he’s not helping customers you can find Jeff mountain biking, running, or exploring the world with his wife and son.

Aydin Senkut

Felicis Ventures

Aydin Senkut is the Founder and Managing Partner of Felicis Ventures. An original super angel turned multi-stage investor, he has been named on the Forbes Midas List for the past seven years (2014-2020) as well as the New York Times Top 20 Venture Capitalists list for the past four years (2016-2019). His recent focus areas include consumerization of enterprise, security, AI, mental health, and longevity.

He is well-known as an early backer of a number of iconic companies including Shopify, Fitbit, Rovio, Adyen, Pluralsight, Guardant Health, Credit Karma, SoundHound and Vicarious.

Prior to starting Felicis Ventures, Aydin was a Senior Manager at Google responsible for strategic partner development and account management in Asia Pacific, including Japan. Aydin joined Google in 1999 as its first Product Manager to launch Google’s first 10 international sites, its first online search licensing products, and its first Safe Search. He then became the first International Sales Manager at Google, responsible for worldwide licensing deals. Before joining Google, Aydin was the Product Manager for Data Visualization and Data Mining software MineSet at SGI.

Herb Cunitz

Herb Cunitz has 30+ years experience in growing and managing all go-to-market operations for emerging software companies: sales, marketing, services, channels and operations. Grew field operations for multiple, private, VC funded technology companies – growing in many cases from little revenue and few employees to $250M in billings. Experienced in working with the boards of venture capital backed companies with three companies going public – Hortonworks, Vitria and Viasoft, and two companies being acquired – SpringSource and Savvion. Experienced in managing all aspects of worldwide field operations, including direct sales, presales, indirect channels, alliances, sales operations, marketing, training and professional services. Experienced in mergers and acquisitions for being both the acquirer and the acquiree. Serving as an independent on multiple boards of directors. Owner of AccelG2M, an advisory consulting firm working with CEO’s of young technology companies on accelerating their growth, raising funds or strategic M&A. 

Ashmeet Sidana

Engineering Capital

Ashmeet is the Chief Engineer of Engineering Capital (www.engineeringcapital.com). His experience includes managing venture capital funds, serving on multiple Boards of Directors, and helping build the industry leading products VMware ESX Server and Silicon Graphics WebFORCE. Before this last decade as a venture capitalist Ashmeet was an operating executive with hands-on operating experience as a CEO and Entrepreneur.

Current investments include Prismo Systems, Menlo Security, Kentik, YotaScale, Nexla and vFunction. Previous realized investments include Azure Power (IPO: AZRE), Netsil (acquired by Nutanix), Palerra (acquired by Oracle), Freewheel (acquired by Comcast), InQuira (acquired by Oracle), Altor (acquired by Juniper), Appurify (acquired by Google) and PrivateCore (acquired by Facebook).

Ashmeet came to venture from VMware, where he ran product management for their flagship product – ESX Server. Before VMware, Ashmeet was the Founder and CEO of Sidana Systems, Inc. He started his career at Hewlett Packard and Silicon Graphics as an engineer.

Ashmeet received an MBA from Wharton, MS in Computer Science from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Science from USC. In his spare time he can be found planning his second trip to Mt. Everest.

Chad Packard

Pelion Venture Partners

Chad is an experienced partner with a demonstrated history of working in the venture capital and private equity industry. Skilled in Due Diligence, Corporate Development, Licensing, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Entrepreneurship. Chad invests in entrepreneurs who are hungry to change the way the world operates. Chad has led the firm’s Seed Stage investing efforts, which has led to interesting early deals like Neighbor, Rivet Health, and Steady MD.  Chad is particularly interested in Vertical SaaS, AI/ML and Cybersecurity. During his tenure at Pelion, Chad has sourced, led, or co-led more than 25 investments including Divvy, Weave, and DataScience.com. Chad currently sits on 13 portfolio company boards including Canopy Tax, UNIFI, and Owlet.

Chad is a member of the state bar association of California. Chad holds a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University, a J.D. from Santa Clara University, and an M.B.A. from Brigham Young University.

Phil Boyer is a Partner at Crosslink Capital, a leading early-stage venture capital firm based in the SF Bay Area founded in 1989. Phil leads early-stage investments in enterprise applications, infrastructure, vertical software, and frontier technology (AI, robotics). Phil’s investments and board positions include: Armory, BetterUp, Bonfire (acq. by GTY), Descartes Labs, Enview, Flo Technologies (acq. by Moen), Inscribe, Iron Ox, Molekule, Overjet, Vectice, Verodin (acq. by FireEye), Weave, and YotaScale.

Timothy Chou

Stanford Cloud Computing Lecturer

Timothy Chou has been a leader in enterprise cloud computing since 1999 when he joined Oracle as the first President of Oracle’s cloud computing business. In 2004 he published the widely acclaimed book, The End of Software, which foretold the rise of application cloud services and featured three startups: VMware, Salesforce and Netsuite. In 2006 he returned to Stanford University and started the first class on cloud computing, cs309a.stanford.edu, which has featured the CEOs of Salesforce, Netsuite, ServiceNow, Zoom, LinkedIn, Splunk, New Relic and Twillio. As a member of the Board of Directors of Blackbaud and Teradata he has been instrumental in their move to the cloud. Today he is working on the Pediatric Cloud project which has the mission of connecting all 1,000,000 healthcare machines in all the children’s hospitals in the world to build a digital infrastructure to transform children’s healthcare.
