A “born in the cloud” team

YotaScale, Inc. is a Silicon Valley startup that is defining infrastructure performance management for the cloud. It is funded by Pelion Venture Partners and Engineering Capital. The idea arose from CEO Asim Razzaq’s experience building and managing large scale infrastructure at companies like eBay and PayPal where Razzaq was Senior Engineering Director.

We believe it’s time for cloud IT organizations to focus not on the tactical, day-to-day firefighting that is their current reality, but on the strategic. They should be managing cloud applications in line with business priorities and balancing performance, availability and security needs with cost considerations.

Our design goal is to create the equivalent of a self driving car, a system that handles routine tasks autonomously, alerts the operator to anomalies and can be adjusted for different operating characteristics depending on your priorities.

Our value goals are simple: 1. Reduce your cloud operating costs while improving performance; 2. Increase your engineering team’s productivity by managing complex tasks that currently require many hours of tedious analysis and problem solving.
